“Lord Hamlet” is a
one-man show, using a collage of Shakespeare’s plays, is beautifully performed
by Clayton Boyd and directed by Tara Notcutt. Burdened with the hardships
of the world, a troubled Hamlet becomes deeply affected and begins to seek
revenge. In the end, however, self-sacrifice remedies his unsettling life.
The actor’s emotions
are powerful and keep the audience enthralled.
Because the actor uses the combination of old and modern English, the
show can be enjoyed by all.
