Well-known actor stars in the fest

This young man has blessed our screens from being Nkosinathi in SABC 1’s hottest drama series Home Affairs, for his role as Taps in the SABC3 drama series Shado's and as Muzi in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars. Anele Matoti feature film credits include No Heaven Above Africa and Life is Hard. He is now featured in the latest Cell C advertisement. This 32 year old outspoken man is now making the festival-goers laugh out loud in the show he performs in entitled Is It Because I'm Jack?

Matoti hails all the way from the Eastern Cape rural area, Cofimvaba in Transkei. Grahamstown is no stranger to him as he did his primary school here. He finds the town to be amazing and conducive for learning. He draws his work from politics and enjoys mocking the politicians. The amusing play that he is performing in the festival is about four young friends in the prime of their lives who are required to face up to their mortality following one of them being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Anele continues to contribute in arts and culture. He is more into comedy and enjoys making people laugh. He is disappointed though at the suppourt he got at the festival or rather lack thereof.
